Modbury Veterinary Clinic was commenced by Dr. Alan M. Irving on an old farm house standing on the present site in 1969. The present buildings were constructed in 1972 with further renovations being undertaken in 2001.

The Modbury Clinic boasts having a very powerful X-Ray unit suitable for even the largest dog as part of its array of modern technological equipment needed to provide the full range of clinical and surgical services required today.
